Veloce is seeking a Sr. Sales Engineer to help drive continued growth for a rapidly growing enterprise software company. This is a critical function within the company and is crucial for our continued success, as well as that of our customers. You will be instrumental in helping our clients understand the value that can be realized with modern CPQ.

Veloce provides the comprehensive quoting solutions that have been absent from the market for more than a decade. Our purpose-built platform was developed to have the flexibility and power to support the broad CPQ requirements of today’s enterprise, regardless of size or complexity.

Position Requirements

  • 3+ years experience as a pre-sales engineer for an enterprise CPQ, Quote to Cash, SaaS, or other software application
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and demonstrated consultative selling experience
  • Ownership mindset demonstrating drive, initiative, energy, and a sense of urgency.
  • Able to thrive in a small team with a highly dynamic work environment
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, team player.
  • Experience working on large project teams
  • A results-oriented approach which balances a “take charge, do-whatever-it-takes” attitude with teamwork and collaboration
  • Experience configuring, guiding an internal build team, and delivering enterprise software demonstrations

Desired Qualifications

  • Recent experience selling CPQ, CRM, Salesforce.com, or Force.com partner solutions 
  • Experience in teaming with systems integrators
  • Experience with either Apttus CPQ or Salesforce CPQ
  • Experience selling Product Pricing Configurators
  • Ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of extending Force.com applications

Responsibilities

  • Assist account executives in technically qualifying new sales opportunities
  • Responsible for understanding business and technical problems addressed by Veloce CPQ and adjacent Quote to Cash processes
  • Present Veloce solutions and demonstrate the application via either remote or in person meetings
  • Build and deliver custom product demonstrations which focus on key business drivers and functional requirements for potential customers
  • Support account executives in production of high quality sales proposals and supporting materials
  • Generate product demo scripts and scenarios and maintain demonstration environment(s).
  • Scoping and delivering Proof of Concept/Proof of Value engagements with prospects.
  • Stay current on our product roadmap, to a level required for demo and POC.
  • Staying current on the competitive landscape and understanding differentiators between Veloce and its competitors.
  • Communicating internally to the Product, Customer Success, and Marketing teams.
  • Translating business needs to product requirements, ensuring customer expectations are captured, and highlighting opportunities to improve our product
  • Support marketing events
