Life as a User Interface Designer

You will join a team of open, creative and goal-oriented people with a sense of humor, who have a practical and transparent way of doing things. You will be mainly working on two types of User Interfaces: (1) For the Veloce CPQ core product components, (2) For tailored components required by particular clients or prospects.

Your day will start with a SCRUM meeting where you catch up with your team and plan your work based on task priorities. If there is a priority request by a client or prospect, you will work together with Business Analyst to understand it and with the Development Team to transform it into a working UI. If there isn't, you will work on core product components defined in our Core Product Roadmap. Usually, you will spend part of your day doing (1) and the other part doing (2).

Your deliverables will primarily be structured as POC (proof of concept) design solutions addressing particular pain points within a larger Enterprise level software solution. While Veloce is a single product, it is a complex, highly customizable CPQ solution, and each client needs UI for a variety of complex workflows, so your work will remain fresh, creative and challenging.

As you spend more time at Veloce, you will grow and discover work that is most interesting to you and that you do best. As our team continues to expand, you will have an opportunity to grow professionally in a direction that you find most compelling.

Many designers say that design is the process of solving problems. Not so many of them say that defining the right problem is a far more challenging task than finding the solution to this problem.
